NRW.INVEST Award
NRW.INVEST honors exemplary investments in North Rhine-Westphalia with the NRW.INVEST Award. At the same time, this acknowledgement is extended symbolically to all investors who have opted for North Rhine-Westphalia as their business location. Over the years since its inception, the NRW.INVEST Award has gone to either an individual company or several companies for their exemplary commitment to North Rhine-Westphalia and their contribution to the economic development of the state.

Innovation
The winner of this year's NRW.INVEST AWARD in the "Innovation" category is the American firm Edgetech Europe. The company opened its first German plant in Heinsberg for the production of innovative, energy-saving plastic spacer systems for insulation glazing
Expansion Investment
The award for "Expansion Investment" goes to the Japanese automotive supplier DENSO Automotive Deutschland GmbH, which considerably expanded its research and development center in Wegberg-Oval.
New Investment
The winner in the "New Investment" category is the Polish company SECESPOL Deutschland GmbH, which opened its first German office in Düsseldorf in March 210.
